Short bio of the speaker
I have been breaking and fixing Linux systems since 1998 — back when configuring X11 was a rite of passage and “the cloud” was just weather. Over the past 25+ years I evolved from sysadmin to DevOps lead to fractional Cloud Architect, helping companies tame AWS/Azure infrastructure and stop burning money on oversized instances.
For the past 8 years I have specialized in automation and infrastructure-as-code, currently running my own consultancy serving clients who need senior-level DevOps expertise without the full-time headcount.
Free-Droid is my first conference talk — and I decided to show up with a robot. Because why not.
When I am not wiring up Raspberry Pis or fine-tuning LLMs, I practice yoga, tend my garden, and raise two kids in rural Hungary.
I hold a degree in Dharma teaching, which turns out to be surprisingly useful when explaining to a robot what ethics means.
Open-source since forever. Sovereign tech enthusiast. Convinced that you should own your robot’s brain.
