Jochanan Sommerfeld is an internationally recognized information systems and network expert with over 25 years of unique experience in the field of information technology and cyber security. His experience spans the entire business cycle, from strategic planning, through development and implementation of large-scale information security and technological solutions.
Before joining the Comsec Group, Jochanan served 7 years as CIO and CSO of Playtech, where he was responsible for defining and implementing the global IT program and cyber security strategy of the enterprise. In the year 1998 Jochanan co-founded db@net, a leading provider of IT professional services with offices in Israel and the United States. In the year 2005 he co-founded the database security company Monolith (later Sentrigo) that was acquired by McAfee in 2011. Additionally, Jochanan serves as director of the board for WillCU and is part of the advisory board of Fortscale and WireX, both innovative cyber security companies.
