Gergő is a penetration tester at Search-Lab Ltd., where he researches and hacks on various embedded systems including mobile devices, set-top-boxes, IP cameras, routers. His tasks include system software analysis, reverse engineering but he feels comfortable with the soldering station as well, implementing low-level hardware attacks thanks to his background in mechatronics engineering. He was involved in commercial security evaluations and contributed to public security advisories of Search-Lab. He has enjoyed participating in the RHme2 embedded hardware CTF recently, where the team scored in the top 10 by casually solving challenges here and there when work allowed it. Gergő holds CEH and OSCP certifications.
