Roland Kamarás was born on 19th July 1989 in Komló, Hungary. In January of 2015 he was graduated from Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics MSc in Software Engineering Department.
Since the fall of 2014, he is working for Ukatemi Kft. as IT-Security expert. In April 2014, he gained Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification. From his early age he is interested in in-depth understanding of the working of IT systems, in addition to the job, he is also working for the last 5 years at the Databases Laboratory of the University as an instructor.
In 2013, he is the member of the CrySyS iCTF team (2nd place), in 2015 the team won the contest. In 2015, 2016 and 2017, as a member of the !SpamAndHex CTF (Capture The Flag) team, he reached the finals of the DEFCON hacker competition.
In March 2016 and 2017 he was participated in the test run of NATO's cyber defense exercise (Locked Shields 2016, 2017) as the member of the Hungarian Blue Team.
