Attila has 6 years of security evaluation experience, but you might have met him on #hack.hu as early as 2004. Having a soft spot for manual code analysis of stable open source codebases, he discovered numerous vulnerabilities in various libraries and applications, including Google Chrome.
He performed security testing and research activities in over 40 commercial security evaluation projects so far during which he became an embedded Linux enthusiast and wannabe hardware hacker. Attila also participated in FP7 and H2020 research and development projects, integrating security analysis tools into a hardware accelerated CPS simulator and trying to reconcile formal verification tools with automated security testing techniques. He is currently responsible for the embedded systems security lab at Search-Lab Ltd.
