István Csizmazia-Darab

I started to work with computers in 1979 as an R20 mainframe operator at FÜTI.

It was a heroic period in my life working with Bulgarian disk units and punch card readers. I started college in 1980 at the Kando Kalman Technical College, then I worked at Hungaroton Studio as a sound technician. During this time I started playing with a Commodore64 personal computer.

In 1989 I got a degree in programming and started to work as a programmer at Volan Tefu. After that I was a programmer and was responsible at the same time for anti-virus solutions at the company Erőterv. From 2001 I was a technical consultant at 2F Ltd., working with Kaspersky and F-Secure Antivirus solutions, and from 2002 I was the editor-in-chief of the Hungarian AV News portal "VírusHíradó". From 2003 I was the online editor  of PC World magazine for 3 years. In 2006 I was a software engineer at IHG Ramsys Ltd.

Then I worked in the VirusBuster virus lab as a virus analyst and press editor. Since 2007 I have been working for the Hungarian distributor of ESET (NOD32 AV) as an IT security expert and technical consultant.
