Gábor worked as a network engineer in the last 15 years at multinational companies (IBM / ALCOA / CIB Bank / MNB).
ince 2012 he has been promoting Raspberry PI computers in Hungary.
Why this change?
His student years were defined by ZX81/Spectrum and C64. The IT knowledge he gained using these devices provided the foundation for his career. He graduated as an electrical engineer from the Budapest University of Technology but was always interested in IT. As a network engineer he dealt with networks with thousands of endpoints and their security solutions which required serious programming skills.
The launch of Raspberry PI re-ignited his old love for micro computers and he remembered what provided the foundation for his career.
He felt it was his mission to show the possibilities offered by Raspberry PI to students and active engineers in Hungary. How to achieve big things out of a small device.
Since 2014 it has been his full time job.
